Between dream and faith, between hope and divine providence, something akin to a miracle is born.
What once seemed impossible has become possible through the power of grace, because “nothing will be impossible with God” (Luke 1:37).
After more than twenty-five years of waiting, and after a long journey of prayer, the dream that lived in the hearts of believers and all those who love the Venerable Father Bechara Abou Mrad has come true.
From hope to action… from an idea to an accomplishment
In what can only be described as divine providence, a small committee was formed—small in number, yet great in faith and hope—with one goal:
to make it easier for the faithful to visit the Venerable Father Bechara Abou Mrad, near his home.
Despite the limited time and the weight of responsibility, and in a period that did not exceed one month, the Lord opened the hearts of the generous. The response was swift, giving was abundant, and the necessary amount was secured—allowing the purchase of the property adjacent to the home.
What happened was not merely a real estate transaction, but a sign of hope and a living testimony that God’s hand is still at work in time, and that the saints—though not yet officially proclaimed—prepare the way from heaven.
“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33).

Heartfelt thanks… to everyone who became an instrument of grace
With gratitude and appreciation, we extend our thanks to:
-
the committee members who served with selflessness and in silence,
-
the benefactors and generous donors who gave with love,
-
everyone who prayed, encouraged, and believed that this dream was possible.
You have all been witnesses that “the hand that gives does not lack,” and that what is sown in love bears the fruit of joy.
“For God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).
An ongoing journey… and a mission that does not stop
As a committee, we reaffirm our commitment to continue our calling and mission, placing all our energies at the service of every good work:
-
for the Venerable Father Bechara Abou Mrad,
-
for the journey toward his beatification,
-
and for his beloved city of Zahle—the city of faith and generosity.
We move forward with confidence, because we believe that the One who began this good work will Himself bring it to completion:
“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6).
Between the dream and the miracle, we chose to believe.
And between prayer and work, we saw God’s hand clearly.
May this achievement be a sign of hope for every weary heart, and a call to trust for everyone who is waiting.
